Hello and welcome to Tiffin University Business Club.

Organization

TUBC consists of Founder Members, Honorary Members and Regular Members. It is coordinated by a two year elected Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors‘ consists of members representing each cohort of Tiffin University -University of Bucharest EMBA Program. In order to be represented in the Board of Directors, each cohort must have at least 5 members registered in TUBC (exceptions may apply to earlier cohorts or the most recent one)

The Board of Directors has the following positions (for more detailed information about the responsibility each position holds, please refer to TUBC Handbook):

  • President

The President will foster the success and growth of our TUBC club.

  • Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible for the health and maintenance of all club finances. In this role, the treasurer keeps the club bank account, collects and records event fees and ensures event payment in a timely manner

  • Newcomers and Internal Communications Coordinator(s)

The purpose of the Internal Communications Coordinator(s) is to ensure that all communication between the Alumni and Member office flows smoothly

  • Event Coordinator(s)

The purpose of the Event Coordinator(s) is to assist various members through event planning and coordination. The member office will assist in event coordination at various levels, depending on the event’s planned and TUBC master calendar

  • Marketing and Planning Coordinator(s)

The Marketing and Planning Coordinator(s) will develop short/ medium term strategies in order to further develop TUBC and increase exposure and influence of the club within business environment

  • PR and External Communications Coordinator(s)

PR and External Communications Coordinator(s) will coordinate external relationships with associate organizations, sponsors, media, etc. in order to ensure high visibility of the club and its activities

Founding Members

Founding Members are the members that put the basis and developed TUBC from early stages. Due to their efforts we know have a professional organization that will help all of Tiffin University - University of Bucharest EMBA Program alumni and students develop their careers and/ or businesses

Honorary Members

Honorary Members are Professors in Tiffin University and other personalities that helped and continuously support TUBC in all its enterprises. It is for their knowledge and experience that they’re sharing with us that we all can now be part of a successful business club.

Regular Members

Regular Members are members that joined the club after TUBC was set up and the ones that we’ll join in the future, alumni and students of Tiffin University - University of Bucharest EMBA Program. The more and diverse members we have in our organization, the more successful the club will be.

In order to capture the most of our members’ experience and skills to improve our organization, Founding and Regular Members are grouped in the following working teams (lead by a member of Board of Directors):

Business Mixers Team (BMT)

Fund Raising Team (FRT)

Communications and PR Team (PRT)

Marketing and Planning Team (MPT)

Partnering and Collaboration Team (PCT)

It is strongly recommended that each member be part of at least one team. Members that don’t express any preferences will be nominated by the Board in one of the teams, according to their professional background.
